Love. Is unconditional. A group of orphans with a group of their adopted dogs :)

We just thought that this is beautiful. When visiting Bangladesh, Sam Edmonds met these boys through Obhoyaronno, an NGO committed to changing widespread and horrific killing of street dogs that persists across the region.

Obhoyaronno was founded by Rubaiya Ahmed in 2009 to better the lives of street dogs in Bangladesh through multiple meetings with government officials and ongoing training in spay/neuter and humane capture of dogs. They helped identify the key areas to focus on and worked within the cultural and social boundaries of Bangladesh to effect positive change - luckily, Robindra Shorbod is one of those areas.

In a riverside concrete amphitheater in Dhaka, Bangladesh, a community of young street children live with their beloved stray dogs. Separated from their parents or orphaned in the slums of Dhaka, the boys forge a close-knit family with their adopted animals. This is Robindra Shorbod, a park where the kids gather and sell recyclable plastic containers for food, which they unfailingly share with their ten devoted canine companions: Tiger, Romeo, Bullet, Kula, Moti, Michael, Tom, Jax, Lalu, and Bagha, each bearing a small tear in the ear to signify that they are saved. neutered, uninfected with rabies and most importantly: able to love and be loved.

Find out what you can do to help these boys and Obhoyaronno over their Facebook page - they sure could use your support!
